Hi, I’m Florian
Serial entrepreneur, tech enthusiast,
and international Speaker
I’m a serial entrepreneur driven by a constant urge to build and innovate. After completing my bachelor’s in engineering at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, specializing in Biomedical and Entrepreneurship, I moved on to pursue a master’s degree in biomedical engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Although I had the opportunity to continue my studies at Stanford, I chose to stay in Europe to launch my own venture, Spentys—a platform that helps healthcare providers create custom orthoses and prostheses using 3D technologies.
Spentys has grown quickly, with a team of around 30 people across 4 countries, and our solution is now available in over 20 countries, used by more than 100 medical professionals. I’m in charge of the technical side, bridging the gap between the technology and market needs.
At the age of 21, I started volunteering with Engineers Without Borders in Madagascar, Congo, and Burundi to help improve waste management systems. I continue to be active in this cause during my free time.
In addition to Spentys, I also launched a coworking space in Brussels called SanoHub, restarted the De Boeck Family Brewery with my siblings, and wrote a book about my great-grandfather, Pedro De Boeck.

Clear and confident communication is key. 💡
I’ve always struggled with presenting, pitching, and clearly sharing my ideas.
But here’s the thing: we can’t afford to be defeated by our challenges—especially when it comes to communication. Why is this so crucial? Because if you want to make a real impact, you need to articulate your vision in a way that resonates. Whether it’s convincing your industry, winning over customers, or rallying your team and stakeholders around your ideas.
That’s why last year, I decided to invest in myself and take a few public speaking classes with incredible coaches like Edward McMillan and Kelly Agathos. (P.S. I reached out to many public speaking coaches on LinkedIn—got a fantastic list! Let me know if you’d like me to share it.)
Here are three powerful lessons I’ve learned and that work very well for me:
1. Set the Scene: Create a strong opening that grabs attention.
2. Control the Time: You control the time ; it’s not a race, it’s a walk in the park and you are at the front of the group.
3. Be (Extra) Confident: Confidence is contagious—believe in yourself, and others will too.
Also it’s not only about what you say, but how you say it- check that video on powerful body language; https://lnkd.in/eMccmDYP
And here’s the exciting part: after months of practice and honing my skills, I entered a pitch contest in Luxembourg—and won! 🏆🎉 The reward? A trip to the US! 🇺🇸
I’m open to more opportunities—feel free to connect if you have suggestions! I’m on a journey to face my challenges head-on and keep getting better in every area. 💪
